1) Two figures are congruent if they have the exact same size and shape. 2) If two triangles are congruent, then the corresponding parts (angles and sides) are congruent. 3) If angle ABC is congruent to angle XYZ, then angle C is congruent to angle Z by the corresponding angles theorem.
