Percent Strength Practice

The document provides examples of calculating the amount of pure drug in percentage strength solutions. It gives the percentage strength and volume of four different solutions and calculates the grams of pure drug. For each solution, it determines the grams of pure drug in the full solution and in given subsample volumes of 25, 35, 65, 75, 110, and 125 mL. The calculations demonstrate how to determine the percentage strength when given the total grams of drug and volume, and then use that to calculate grams of drug in a given volume.
