Objective:-
Financial market is one of the markets where there is lots of option for the Company,
because this market is at the starting point or at the initial stage. Prudential is a part of
these financial markets who is going for potential take over, Mergers and acquisition to
expand and untertake all the various options available for growth and extract their
competitors leading to the advantage of high market growth, market share and synergy
leading to cutting down the cost. The Merger’s and Acquisition’s mainly depend upon the
company who have the power of money to go into a strategic alliance with other
companies in the form of mergers and acquisition, and our objective was to study about
the merger’s and acquisition’s, how they take place, their effect, advantages,types,
Procedure and this is analysed with the help of 6 different case studies on merger and
acquisition’s, our project “Merger’s and Acquisition in India With the help of

various Case studies” ,which mainly focus on finding out Advantages, Types,
success and failures of them their mode of merger .
