• I have chosen this specific song due to


the fact, this song will involve certain
elements I want to put within my video.
• This video is a typical Pop music
video, due to it having a clear storyline
and narrative. Which allow people to
follow the video.

Within the video of mysterious girl, the


consistent focus is on the artist and certain
aspects of the artist it either being his body or
his face. This is done by using various shot
types close-ups and mid-shots mostly, but the
background is a plan background so the focus
stays on the artist. This is to also attract the
audience to the artist and make sure you
remember him.

Throughout the video, it uses
sequences where the camera shot will
focus on the artist and cut to a shot of
the actress within the video,
emphasising that this is the woman that
he wants to spend the rest of his life
with, and also it shows that the couple
are ideal for each other and makes the
audience want them to get together due
to the way their same compatible due
to the consistent shots cut together of
the two.

The final sequence of the music video is where
eventually the audiences get what they want to see,
where the artist and he actress eventually get together.
Towards the end of the video you get the shot of the
actress walking along the beach, making the audience
still intrigued to see whether the artist will get the girl
he wants.

Then the next two shots used within the video are
showing that the artist does eventually get the girl he
wants. Also the sunset location ands to the romance of
the situation and makes us feel even more happy for
the two, as the first contact they are having is in such a
romantic and loving location, I want to try apply this
type of location within my video.

In the opening sequence you see a

and the specific girl within the group, so
from the start of the song you know that
the song is for this specific girl. This is
what I am hoping to do within my video
showing the link between the actress and
artist, so the audience can become
engrossed in the video, seeing whether in
my video can he get the girl he wants.

In the final sequence of the video it uses various


shots of the actress and artist together, having fun
and enjoying each others company. Meaning that
they belong together and should be together. The
audience are happy at the ending as he gets the
girl he wants and is happy with. Even though the
use of black and white and it not being very
bright, emphasising the happiness as they stand
out of a dark shot and all attention is them, as they
is no other strong colours around to distract you
from the actress and artist. This sort of sequence is
the idea I have of making for my video.

The reason for analysing the take that video, is due


to the location and same shots used that are within
the mysterious girl music video.

As you can see from these camera shots they are very similar to the shots used within
mysterious girl music video, I feel these shots are to show passion and also like
mysterious girl I feel they are used to make them look sexy within the video. Making
people want to buy their music. Also the group shot of them all dancing is like the same
shot used when Peter Andre and the two other people are in the sea with him dancing to
the song.
Take That- Pray

After looking at this video this type of shot I feel


would fit in well with my version of the This shot is a nicely lit shot, that is very
mysterious girl video, showing that the artist effective with artist making it seem like the
lonely and needs to find the girl for him. This is light is going through him and shows a lot
shown due to the fact that the lighting used works of passion between the song and the artist.

This is a more fast pace song, same tempo as Mysterious Girl, the video starts of with a
performance based video. The more the video goes on it is about the artist hooking up
with a girl. Within the video is dances and sings to various girls as if he searching for
the right girl. The video is very well constructed and uses various shots and fast cuts
which adds to the raunchy and sexual look of the video.
Justin Timberlake- Senorita
Within the video of Senorita there are
various encounters with the artist with
different women, but whenever it
goes to the mastershot of the music
video, of the artist performing the
main attention is too one girl, a girl in
a strong red coloured dress making
her stand out, so the audience
understand that she is the one the
artist wants, and they make sure she
stands out from the other girls
wearing a dress and a bright colour
also. Shows that even though the
artist can have all these different eyes,
he only wants her.
