RATIONALE

- Teaching different emotions to children is very important to let them know variations of feelings. They should
know how to distinguish emotions to get the idea on how to address such behaviors of people around them. For
example if a classmate is sad they may be able to help the person be happy in simple ways like talking or letting
the person know that they are ready to listen.

OBJECTIVES

- To let the students distinguish different emotions

- To let the students know how to address situations regarding different emotions
- To let the students suggest solutions on how to overcome terrible emotions

PROCEDURES

- I will introduce my lesson to the students by asking the questions “What is the saddest experience you had?”
and “What is the happiest moment in your life? “
- After answering my question I will show pictures/ illustrations of different emotions
- Ask volunteers to name the emotion I will pinpoint then portray them in front of the class
- I will ask the students to pick one emotion shown a while ago and write an essay regarding how to deal with
those feelings.
