Patron Login Area

Collect your Login &


Password in Library

Managing the patron's account from the OPAC.

You must be logged in in order to view information about your account.


When logged in, you can...

• View and renew items checked out


• View and renew items overdue
• View status of and cancel holds you have placed
• View fines you owe
• Submit changes to your personal details (like name or address)
• Submit a change to your password
• View your Reading History (also known as 'Checkout History')
• Manage your purchase suggestions (view status and add)
• Manage how you're notified by the library of events and due dates
• Review an edit your lists

My Personal Details

• Click on the 'my personal details' tab


• You profile information will be available for you to update
• Submitting the form will notify a library staff member, who will make the changes permanent.
o An email will be sent to the address set at the branch level on the staff client
 Get there: More > Administration > Libraries, branches and groups
o The librarian can then make the requested changes to the patron record by copying the info out of the email and into the staff client

Change My Password

• Click on the 'change my password' tab

• From here you can change your login information for the OPAC
• TIP: Library staff cannot see or retrieve passwords for patrons. If a patron loses their password the only option is to have the library staff
change the password from the staff client.
My Reading History

Click the 'my reading history' tab This will show you everything you've checked out from the library

How to Search OPAC

You can search your documents through simple and advanced search options like Author, Title, Call
Number, Subject, ISBN and Barcode Number, Document type also.

How to Reserve a Books From OPAC (Place, cancel and manage holds)
To Search for an item in the OPAC if the item is checked out

clicking the 'Place Hold' link at the top of the results list.
Green color a confirmation screen will appear (After returned the item in the library)

Students Library Privileges: Duration of Loan, Circulation Limits, Overdue charges
