PROCEDURE FOR INSTALLATION OF ZTE SMAP

1 Copy ZTE softwares to the local computer


There should be following directories:
a. smap
b. smap setup
c. sybase client

2 In the sybase client directory:


a. run setup
b. choose option ---> licensed produt
c. choose option "all" in product selection
d. choose next>>
e. log off after setup

3 After sybase client setup, go to windows start--->programs--->sybase--->Dsedit


4 Choose "OK" in the select directory service
5 In the interface Driver: the server list should be empyt

6 Right click on the server window and add new servers:


a. Server (SMP) name is: zx192_80_5_133
Server (SMP) address is TCP: 192.80.5.133,4100
b. Server (SCP) name is: zx192_80_5_134
Server (SCP) address is TCP: 192.80.5.134,4100
7 Check the installed servers by using PING server. The result should be OK

8 Now, Install BDE by running Bdesetup.exe from \ZTEsoftwares\Smapsetup\env\bde

9 After successful installation of BDE, setup the SMAP:


a. run from ---- \ ztesoftwares\smapsetup\smapsetup.exe
b. In the setup option, choose Sync flag as "Not Sync" and Database type as " SYBASE"
c. In the SMAP install,
#IP:192.80.5.133
#select all the items to setup
#charge type as "mobile"
#environment setup " choose nothing"
#complete setup

10 Copy " \ ztesoftwares\smap" to C:\zxin10\


11 Remove all the unnecessary exe files from "c:\zxin10\smap" and Desktop

TO QUERY THE STATUS OF RECHARGE CARD

1 Log on to the VC system


2 Open "Query recharge log" from the main menu
3 Select Card number option and input the card number to see its status

QUERY THE STATUS OF PREPAID SUBSCRIBER

1 Log on to the PPS system


2 Open Query MSISDN information and input the mobile number to see its status
3 Open MSISDN management
3a To block or open prepaid with secutity number ( password ) , choose Lost / Withdraw lost option
3b To query the money transfer information with security number ( password ), choose Query transfer info
3c To modify language , choose Modify language option
