Internship Report

Learning Objective

To become familiar with concepts and process of media planning in 7 working days.

Purpose of Report

This report includes what I have learnt in first three days of my internship.

Learning in first 3 days

1. I discussed various concepts of media planning with Mr.Ibrar and Mr.Abid which
includes strategic and tactical media planning.

2. I thoroughly studied (not memorize) Fixed Point Charts (FPC) and Rate Cards of all
popular Pakistani entertainment and news channels.

3. I studied various proposals send by different cable operators of Pakistan to Time &
Space Media (Pvt) Ltd.

4. I studied various special proposals send by Time & Space Media (Pvt) Ltd to their
clients.

5. I learnt the process used by Media Logic to rank news and entertainment programs in
Pakistan.

6. I create mock media plans for PDMA (Wattan Cards).It includes comprehensive plan
to advertise Wattan Cards on 9 major News Channels for 10 days with a budget of 15
million Pak Rupees.

7. I observed Mr.Ibrar and Mr.Abid making media plans for different clients which
includes media plans for Pak Turk International School and 7 herbal cream.
