Changing One Life at a Time

Dear Future Students of Ms. Watts,

Based on the standards that Ms. Watts has given you, there are a couple things you should know about how the class
room works as well as how Ms. Watts works. Ms. Watts tries hard to be mean, but I think when she tries to be mean she is even
nicer than before. Another thing is Ms. Watts tries to make everything as open as much as possible, so don’t abuse the power.
Remember with power comes responsibility.
First, just know that the rules of the classroom are Ask if you need something, obey the teacher, and do your work. Three
simple general classroom rules easy enough, right? Trust me if you follow these rules, Ms. Watts won’t give you such a hard time.
Another thing you should be warned about is the Watts stare; if you don’t do your work, she’ll stare at you in a way that you’ll be
a little out after a while that she’ll scare you into doing your work. Another thing you should be warned about is anything Ms.
Watts says she is serious; you can get in trouble in some way, but instead of a standard punishment it will be a little bit more
embarrassing. One last thing you should be warned about is how not asking will get you in a lot of trouble. If you don’t ask, well
let’s just say, do it right the first time or plan on doing it again, and again, and again until you get it right.
Next Ms. Watts tends to be the kind of weird nice that freaks you out. You’ll ask her a sarcastic question and for some
odd reason she’ll say yes to it. You’ll be shocked and freaked out at the same time. Trust me you do not want to be in that position,
but anyways next topic. At a couple of points Ms. Watts may seem harsh, but she is trying to help you and it will help in the long
run. I exceeded standards of the reading portion of the CRCT and the only reason I did that was because Ms. Watts pushed and
pushed on us that we get everything about reading down through our skulls, and if it weren’t for her I would still be afraid to try
harder and try new things.
Overall, my point is that as long as you follow the simple classroom rules and you do what you’re supposed to do you’ll
pass her class with flying colors. Also try to be a little creative; Ms. Watts doesn’t like traditional. She likes to be different, out
there, above and beyond, but hey, that is Ms. Watts. Take it from a guy who had her in 7th and 8th grade.

Stay Well
