COSTING OF PARAMETERS OF FABRICS AND TRIM FOR
THE GARMENT

The costing is made with the help of an actual sample to analyze the garment’s materials and
construction step by step. It includes the costing of fabric, trims, embroidery, and stitching,
finishing, mark up.

Description: ladies kurta, V- neck.

Tag cost: Rs. 3

Bead work cost:

Large bead: 75 paise/piece

Medium bead: Rs. 10/ pack (1 pack = 144 pcs)

Small bead: Rs. 5/ pack (1 pack = 144 pcs)

Manual charge: Rs. 30

Finishing cost (thread cutting, spotting, poly-bag, steaming):

Poly-bag: Rs. 2/garment

Carton cost: 50 paise/ garment
