DIVISIBILITY RULES!!

A number is divisible by another number if after dividing, the remainder is zero.

# Rule Examples

2 A number is divisible by 2, if it is even (ends in 0, 2, 4, 6, or 8)

3 A number is divisible by 3, if the sum of its digits is divisible by 3.

4 A number is divisible by 4, if the number’s last two digits are divisible by 4.

5 A number is divisible by 5, if the number ends in a 0 or a 5.

6 A number is divisible by 6, if the number is divisible by both 2 and 3.

8 A number is divisible by 8, if the last 3 digits of the number are divisible by 8.

9 A number is divisible by 9, if the sum of its digits is divisible by 9.

10 A number is divisible by 10, if the number ends in a 0.

12 A number is divisible by 12, if the number is divisible by both 3 and 4.
