Objective
I have been a teacher since 1997, teaching various subjects including junior high math, high school
English, journalism, and technology applications classes. I currently teach technology applications at
Pewitt Junior High School in Omaha, Texas. I want to improve my skills in teaching, especially where
technology is concerned, so that I will be better able to help my students succeed now and in a future in
which every aspect of their lives will depend upon using technology. Although I would be open to working
as an instructional technologist in a school district, where I could work to guide teachers to plan their use
of technology in classrooms, I plan to continue to teach technology applications at Pewitt Junior High
School to help my students be ready to meet the demands of 21st century life.
