Group of 5 students are suppose to go to vasai road
(east) to conduct a survey on the various FMCG
products used in rural areas named as
gokhivare.This village is further divided into 7 parts:
 Khalchi ali.
 Shinde ali.
 Baudhwada.
 Bhatpada.
 Devipada.
 Lagipada.
 Vinay.
Queries to be covered under this
project were:
 What are the products that are used for (personal
wash(soaps),Laundry, skin care, oral care,
shampoo, tea in the rural areas?
 Which are the companies (local/branded) that have
penetrated into the rural areas for sale of their
products?
 What are the marketing strategies adopted for the
promotion of such products?
 What are the prices & quantity of their products?
 How do people choose to use a particular product?
