The following steps should occur: Final Inspection Parties who should attend: Licensed Investor Representative, and / or The Purchaser. Defects must be followed up and rectified by property manager.

Final Inspection Flow Chart

In the event that any defects in the property are noted at the final inspection, the
following steps should occur:

Final Inspection
Parties who should attend:
• Licensed Investor Representative
• Purchaser

Pre-Settlement
Inspection Report
Performed by the:
• Building Inspector, and/or
• The Purchaser

If defects are found:


The building inspectors report and/or
purchasers inspection report highlighting
the defects must be sent to:
Seller’s Representative who sends copy to:-
• Developer
• Vendor’s solicitor
Buyer’s Representative who sends copy to:-
• Purchaser’s Solicitor
• Property Manager (if applicable)

Post-Settlement
Inspection
Property Not Follow up rectification Property
Tenanted of defects Tenanted
• Buyer’s Representative inspects • Defects followed up by Property
