Teleportation Abstract
Abstract:
The image of the person appears within a 3D environment, & can make eye to eye contact with
individuals and can hold true two-way conversations. This is a unique system invented by a
privately held Richardson based firm by the name Teleportec Inc. They are mainly operating in
USA and UK.
Teleportation is the duplication or re-creation of physical objects or their properties using light
beams, according to researchers at the California Institute of Technology. Also calling it
quantum teleportation, the researchers have successfully transmitted information about the
properties of an object at the speed of light so that the object be duplicated or reconstructed at the
destination.
Teleportation systems are better than videoconferencing. Videoconferencing has never presented
itself as a realistic alternative to face-to-face meetings because of its severe limitations - only one
person can speak at any one time creating an amplified feeling of distance between participants.
With videoconferencing people feel uncomfortable by being on camera and feel disconnected
from the people shown on the screen. Teleportation gives a sense of presence by achieving eye-
to-eye contact with a distant person who is teleported into the room.
Teleportation involves dematerializing an object at one point, and sending the details of that
object's precise atomic configuration to another location, where it will be reconstructed.
A teleportation machine would be like a fax machine, except that it would work on 3-
dimensional objects as well as documents, it would produce an exact copy rather than an
approximate facsimile
Classification:
Teleportation is classified in to
1)Human Teleportation
2)Quantum Teleportation
Human teleportation:
The dematerialization of complete physical human body and then sending its atomic
configuration to the destination in order to reconstruct it at the destination with the exact
precision.
Quantum Teleportation:
The scanning of a physical body to extract all the information from it, then transmitting that
information to the destination location and then using it to construct the replica, not necessarily
from the actual material of the original.
Advantages:
The organizations have recognized the substantial communication benefits of technology
