Feedback – Responses to the Film
• Generally, our film was well received when screened.
• Things in particular that were positively recognised:
• The use of cheerful, mellow music as it “helped bring across the emotional context
of the film.”
• In terms of location, the natural settings of the interviewees.
• Conveyed it’s message very clearly.
Audience Feedback Questions
• What did you think was particularly successful about our film?
• What would you change?
• Who do you think the target audience is? Do you think we are
reaching out target audience? Please comment.
• Where do you think you would find a film like ours? (websites,
cinema, TV, etc)
• Did it tug at your heart strings?
• Are you more sympathetic to the problems of teenage gay
people?
• Has your attitude towards gay people changed?
Audience Feedback
• Our feedback was pretty vague as not many people responded to our feedback
questions of the blog. Moreover, most feedback we received was incredibly brief,
particularly for question 2.

Things to Improve on/Change
• Include more adults/teachers – e.g. Mr. Boyle; head teacher at Dunraven.
•The sound in Michael & Kelly’s interview isn’t always clear due to their
being a constant buzzing.
•The lighting in the same interview also too dark.
Changes We Made
• We used as many audio filters possible to help minimise the buzzing during Kelly &
Michael’s interview. The buzzing didn’t stop completely but was significantly
decreased.
• Because we had met our filming deadline, we did not have a chance to
interview Mr. Boyle. We did have an interview scheduled with Ms. Ivy – one of
the school mentors, but she had to cancel on numerous occasions.
