Steel thickness ranges from 0.2391 inches for gauge 3 to 0.0067 inches for gauge 36. Galvanized steel thickness is also provided in metric measurements for various gauges between 1 mm and 3 mm thick. Aluminum thickness measurements are slightly less than steel for the same gauges.
