Your Account
Shopping the Apple Online Store is even faster and easier if you have an account. Your account consists of your Apple ID and password.
With it, you can easily save items and carts, take advantage of 1-Click ordering, check the status of or change your orders, and more.
Benefits of an Apple ID
To create an Apple ID (typically your email address) or sign in using an existing Apple ID, click here. If you have made purchases
through the iTunes Store or have a MobileMe account, you can use the same Apple ID you use for either of those.
By creating and using an Apple ID, you can personalize your Apple Online Store experience. You can save items you’re interested in
purchasing, save a cart if you’re almost ready to place an order, use 1-Click ordering on our secure website, check the status of or change
your order, check Apple Gift Card balances, and much more.

Additionally, your Apple ID gives you access to other Apple resources including:

 Buying music, movies, and TV shows at the iTunes Store


 Buying or downloading applications at the App Store

If you forgot your Apple ID, try your current email address. If that doesn't work, you can find your username with our Apple ID recovery
tool, iForgot. You can also visit the Your Apple ID Account page.
If you still can't sign in, please contact Apple Store Customer Service at 1-800-676-2775. For security purposes, Apple cannot provide
you with your Apple ID or password.

Find or Reset Password
If you forgot your password, you can easily recover or reset it using the iForgot tool. For security reasons, Apple cannot reset your
password for you.
To protect yourself against unauthorized purchases to your credit card, do not give out your password to anyone.

NOTE: If you attempt to sign in to the Apple Online Store numerous times with the wrong password, you will see the following error:
“This Apple ID has been disabled for security reasons." To reset your account, use the iForgot tool.

Guest Checkout
With our Guest Checkout feature, you can check out on the Apple Online Store without an Apple ID or password. Simply add the items
you'd like to purchase to your cart, enter your shipping and payment information, and click the "Place Order Now" button.

You'll be able to visit online Order Status to check your order status and track shipments. To cancel items, add items, or make changes to
your order, please call 1-800-676-2775. To determine eligibility or request an Apple rebate, visit the Product Promotions website. For

Manage Your Account
It's easy to change your Apple ID, password, or default shipping and payment information. Click here to view and edit your account
information. Please note that you will not be able to change your credit card information if you have 1-Click turned on.
Any changes that you make will only apply to future orders. To make changes to current orders, visit onlineOrder Status.
1-Click

1-Click ordering allows you to conveniently purchase item(s) from the Apple Online Store with a single click of your mouse.

When you activate 1-Click for a computer, the "Buy with 1-Click" button displays on most product pages. Simply select the product you
want to purchase, and click the "Buy with 1-Click" button.

Items ordered using 1-Click (except for Electronic Software Downloads) will be processed at the end of a 90 minute waiting period. For
each 1-Click order, a thank you page confirming your Order Number will be available for you. On this page, you can access your 1-Click
order by clicking the "Edit 1-Click Order" button. During this waiting period, you can modify and delete your pending 1-Click order(s).
All of the items you purchase within 90 minutes will be consolidated into one order to save on shipping costs.

Apple will process your order according to the instructions you provide when you turn on 1-Click. Once your order has been processed,
an Order Acknowledgment email will be sent to the email address registered under your Apple ID.

Remember, 1-Click must be turned on for each computer you want to use this feature with. By activating 1-Click, you indicate that you
have read and agree with Apple's Sales and Refunds Policy.
1-Click Settings

1-Click lets you set your shopping preferences, including your preferred shipping addresses and methods, for faster and easier shopping.

To access your 1-Click account settings, log in to Your Account and click the “Change 1-Click settings" link. From here you can turn 1-
Click on or off, or edit your preferred shipping and payment information. If you’d like to change your credit card information, you must
first turn 1-Click off.

Return Items
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may be eligible to return the item for a refund.

To return an item, please visit online Order Status for assistance 24 hours a day, or call 1-800-676-2775, Monday – Friday from 5:00
a.m. to 8:00 p.m., or Saturday – Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Pacific time.
Returns policy

Items that cannot be returned include:

1. Opened memory
2. Opened software*
3. Electronic Software Downloads
4. Personalized iPods
5. Software Up-to-Date Program Products (software upgrades)
6. Apple Gift Cards
7. Apple Gift Packaging (origami style gift box with ribbon and greeting card)
8. Apple Developer Connection Products (Membership and Technical Support)
* You may return software after rejecting the licensing terms, provided the software is not installed on a computer. However, software
that contains a printed software license may not be returned if the seal or sticker on the software media packaging is broken.

Online return process

1. Visit online Order Status.


2. Sign in with your Apple ID and password. If you have questions about your Apple ID, please visit theYour Account section of
online Help.
3. View the order details of the order containing the item(s) you would like to return.
4. Click the “Return items” link.
Note: If you need assistance or do not have an Apple ID, please call 1-800-676-2775.

Items in your order will be divided into two groups — items that are eligible to be returned online and items you cannot return. For each
item that you can return online, you will need to select the item, a reason for return, and whether you’ve opened the box. We’ll provide
you with an estimated total refund amount less restocking fees, as applicable. You’ll also be able to print a return shipping label to place
on the box you use to return your item(s).

Once you’ve submitted your return request, you’ll receive an email confirmation with your return details. You are responsible for
shipping the items back to Apple, including shipping fees. If you have multiple items to return, you may put them together in one box
with the packing slip. We strongly recommend using the original packaging if you are returning a computer.

Items(s) must be received by the Apple returns center within 14 calendar days from when the return was requested.

Once we receive the item(s) we’ll process the return, issue a refund, and send you a return receipt confirmation email.

Refund methods

Your refund will be issued after we receive your item(s) at the Apple returns center. The way your refund is processed depends on your
original payment method.
 Credit card refunds will be sent to the card-issuing bank within five business days of receipt of the returned package. Please
contact the card-issuing bank with questions about when the credit will be posted to your account.
 Apple Gift Card payments will be refunded in the form of a new Apple Gift Card within eight business days. Please allow up
to five business days to receive your new Apple Gift Card via United States Postal Service (USPS) after processing.
 Cash payments will be refunded in the form of a check from Apple, which will be mailed to your billing address within 14
calendar days of receipt of the returned package.

Incorrect or damaged items

If you received the wrong product or it was damaged during shipping, please contact Apple Store Customer Service at 1-800-676-2775,

Viewing & Changing Orders


Need to check on or change an order? See how you can modify or cancel items, edit your shipping or email address, track a shipment,
print an invoice, and more.

Check Order Status


It’s easy to check the status of your order! Just visit online Order Status and sign in with your Apple ID and password to get a summary
of orders placed in the past 18 months. You’ll see your order number, the date and time the order was placed, the status of the order,
estimated shipping and delivery dates, the shipping method, and package tracking information for items that have shipped. If you choose
to view the order details of an order, you’ll see additional information including any gift messaging, product engraving, product
customization, and more.
Order status messages

Commonly used order statuses include:

 Not yet shipped - We've received your order and are processing it. If you need to cancel or change items in your order, read
the Cancel Items or Order or the Modify Items sections of online Help below.
 Prepared for Shipment - Your items have already been prepared for shipment and cannot be changed online or by our
customer service department. We’ll send you an email when your item(s) have shipped.
 Shipped - We've shipped your order using the shipping method you selected. You can track your shipment from online Order
Status.

Cancel Items or Order
You may be able cancel an item or an entire order online, provided the item(s) in your order have not been prepared for shipment, or
have not shipped.

Go to online Order Status, and select to view the order details of the order containing the item(s) you want to cancel. From the Order
Details page, you can click the “Cancel items” link.
Items in your order will be divided into items that are eligible for cancellation online and items you cannot cancel. For each item that you
can cancel online, you will need to select the item and a reason for cancellation. Once you’ve submitted your cancellation, we’ll send an
email with your cancellation details. You can also view your cancellation on the order details page of the order containing your cancelled
item(s) – the status of the items will read “Cancelled”. You will not be billed for these items.

If you are unable to cancel item(s) online and need to make a return, please review the Returns & Refundssection of online Help or
call 1-800-676-2775.

Change Order
Add Items

If you recently placed an order and you would like to purchase additional items, you can place a new order on the Apple Online Store or
have the items added to your order by contacting Apple Store Customer Service at 1-800-676-2775. Help is available Monday - Friday
from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., or Saturday - Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Pacific time.

Modify Items

Sign in to online Order Status and select to view the order details of an order to find out if you can still make changes to an item. You
may be able to make changes, provided the item has not been prepared for shipment or has shipped. Visit the Check Order Status section
of online Help above for more information on order status messages.
From the Order Details page you can:
Add, edit, or remove a gift message on an item.

 Add: Click the “Add a gift message” link below the item and type your message
 Edit or remove: Click the “Edit” link or the “Remove” link next to the Gift message below the item
Remove gift packaging on an item

 Remove: Click the “Remove” link next to the Gift package text below the item
Edit iPod personalization

 Edit: Click the “Change Engraving” link below the item and type in the new or revised message
Change Shipping Address

You may be able to edit the shipping address for an order, if none of the items in your order have been prepared for shipment or have
shipped. Visit the Check Order Status section of online Help above for more information on order status messages.
To change the shipping address for your order, sign in to online Order Status and select to view the order details of the order you want to
change. Click the “Edit” link in the Shipping Address section. On the Change shipping address page, you can enter a new shipping
address or you can select a shipping address you've used in the past. Changes to your shipping address will only affect the particular
order you are changing.
Log in to Your Account and click the “Change account information” link to change your default shipping address. Changing the default
shipping address will only affect future orders.
Change Email Address

If you didn’t receive an Order Acknowledgment or Shipment Notification email, we may have an incorrect email address or the emails
are stuck in your spam or junk mail folder.
To change the email address for your order, sign in to online Order Status and select to view the order details for the order you want to
change. Click the “Edit” link in the Email Address section.
Your updated email address affects only the order you’ve changed and future notifications for this order will be sent to the updated email
address. Your updated email address will also be reflected on the Order Details page.

To change your default email address for future orders, log in to Your Account and click the “Change account information” link.
If you need assistance with changing your order, please call 1-800-676-2775.

Track Shipments
As soon as your item(s) have shipped, we’ll send you a Shipment Notification email that includes the carrier’s name and a tracking
number, if available. You can also view this information by signing in to online Order Status. If you ordered multiple items, you may
receive separate shipments.
Click the tracking number to view the status of your package on the carrier’s website. Tracking information may not be immediately
available. The U.S. Postal Service and other carriers may not provide tracking information.

Most shipments require a signature on delivery. Please read the "Signature on Delivery" section on theShipping & Delivery online Help
page for more information and alternative options if you will not be available to provide a signature.

View or Print Invoice
You’ll be able to view and print invoices for your item(s) shortly after they have shipped.

To view or print your invoice, sign in to online Order Status and select to view the order details for the order containing the item(s) for
which you want an invoice. Click the “Print all invoices” link on the Order Details page to get a printable image of your invoice(s). You
can also select to print individual invoices for a particular shipment.

The Apple Online Store presents questions and answers asked and answered by actual visitors. This service is a great way
to get specific, detailed product information from our community of visitors.
Getting Started
You may browse and read questions and answers without logging in, but if you want to post or answer a question, you will
need to log in with an Apple ID, a unique user ID that allows you to access various Apple resources. For more information,

Submitting Questions and Answers

You are encouraged to ask any product related question that helps you with your buying decision. Here are a few of the
most important principles to keep in mind when you’re writing a question or answer:

 You are most likely to get an accurate and useful response if you are specific, clear, and concise in asking and
answering questions.

 Avoid profanity, and do not post contact information (email addresses, phone numbers, etc.), URLs, time-sensitive
material or alternative ordering information.
 Avoid questions about non-product related issues such as service and support, resellers, shipping, sales policies,
other Apple partners or Apple topics not directly related to the product. Q&A is a place for asking and answering
questions about the product's features or functionality.

 Avoid technical support questions that refer to repairs or fixing a product that has stopped functioning. You can
post those in the Apple Support Discussions.

 Avoid harmful or illegal advice as well as any speculation about future products or enhancements.

Using more than one payment card


You can also combine payment methods to pay for your purchase. Choose from the following combinations of credit cards and Apple
Gift Cards:

 Credit card(s) - up to two


 Apple Gift Card(s) - up to eight
 Apple Gift Card(s) + one credit card
During checkout, if you are paying with a gift card issued by a credit card company, you can combine it with one credit card.

Credit Cards or Debit Cards

Troubleshooting credit card & debit card payment errors


 If your card is new or recently reissued, make sure it has been activated.
 Double check the card type (for example, American Express), the account number and expiration date.
 Remove dashes or spaces from the account number.
 If everything seems to be correct, call the card issuer's customer service 800 number on the back of your card. Your credit card
company may need to speak with you before they authorize your purchase.
Account verification
To prevent any unnecessary delays processing your order, please ensure that the billing addresses on your order matches the information
on your credit card account. If you have recently moved or are unsure whether you receive your credit card statement at your work or
home address, please contact your card-issuing bank using the 800 number on the back of your credit card to confirm.

Security codes
The card security code is a unique three or four digit number printed on the front (American Express) or back
(Discover/MasterCard/Visa) of your card, in addition to the account number.

Daily spending limits for Debit Cards


Most debit and check cards have daily spending limits that may substantially delay the processing of an order — even if there is enough
money in an account. When using a debit card, funds are immediately reserved in your bank account at the time you place your order.
Please consult your card-issuing bank for information about your daily spending limits if you are having trouble placing your order.

When Apple charges your account


When you place an order, Apple will contact your credit or debit card’s issuing bank to confirm it is a valid account. Apple requests an
authorization, which holds the funds for the full or partial purchase amount. Authorized funds will be unavailable to you as Apple
prepares your items for shipment and may display as “pending” on your credit or debit card’s online statement.

However, your card will only be charged after your order has shipped. If your order contains multiple items and they ship at different
times, you may see multiple charges on your credit or debit card statement.

If you cancel your order before your items ship, any authorizations placed on your credit card account can take up to 30 days to expire
and any authorizations placed on your debit card account can take up to 10 days to expire. Contact your financial institution for their
specific timeframes.

Any gift card issued by a credit card company can be used as a method of payment on the Apple Online Store. During checkout, if you
are paying with a gift card issued by a credit card company, you can combine it with one credit card.

Cashier’s Check or Money Order

To pay for your purchase using a Cashier’s Check or Money Order:

1. Place your order with an Apple Store Specialist at 1-800-MY-APPLE.


2. Obtain the final dollar total of your order, including tax and any applicable shipping charges from the Apple Store Specialist.
3. Confirm that your cashier's check or money order is for the full amount of the order. It is not possible to combine a cash
payment with another form of payment for one order.
4. Make the cashier’s check or money order payable to Apple Inc., and include your Web Order Number or a copy of your order.
5. Mail your payment to:

Apple Gift Card

You can redeem an Apple Gift Card at the online Apple Store, by calling 1-800-MY-APPLE, or at any Apple Retail Store. Apple Gift
Cards can be used only in the United States. You can purchase just about anything sold by Apple (except another Apple Gift Card, an
iPhone Gift Card, an iTunes Gift Certificate, or purchases at the iTunes Store), including products from both Apple and third-party
makers.

You can use up to eight Apple Gift Cards at the Apple Online Store or if placing an order over the phone at 1-800-MY-APPLE. You can
combine your Apple Gift Card(s) with one credit card to pay for your purchase. Simply enter or provide the 16-digit card number and 8-
digit PIN (to be scratched off). Please keep the card in your possession until the order has been processed and delivered.

Tax
Tax rate

In accordance with state and local law, your Apple Online Store purchases will be taxed using the applicable sales tax or seller’s use tax
rate for your shipping address. The tax listed during checkout is only an estimate. In California, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island, sales
tax is collected on the unbundled price of the iPhone.

Your invoice will reflect the final total tax, which includes state and local taxes, as well as any applicable rebates or fees.

Tax-exempt orders

To place an order on behalf of a tax-exempt organization or individual, please call an Apple Store Specialist at 1-800-MY-APPLE. You
will need to provide proof of state tax-exempt status for the state where the product is being shipped. The organization or individual
name on the order must exactly match the state tax-exempt certificate. Federal tax exemption certificates are not applicable.

We keep you informed

Shortly after you place your order, you will receive an Order Acknowledgement email to confirm your order details, including shipping
and delivery estimates for each item. Once your item has prepared for shipment and ships, you will receive a Shipment Notification
email with carrier and tracking information.

You can visit online Order Status 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to view the most up-to-date status of your order.
If you're shipping your order to someone else, you may want Apple to let them know that something special is on the way. During
checkout, simply enter the recipient's email address in the "Email Address (optional)" field of the Shipping module. The email will
display product, carrier, and tracking information, but will not include pricing and payment details.
Shipping and delivery estimates

The 'Ships' timeframe is an estimate of when the item will prepare for shipment and ship from our warehouse. The items on your order
will ship as they become available.

 Items that ship within "24 hours" are estimated to ship the same or following business day.

 Items with longer estimates ship from our warehouse within the timeframe indicated (e.g., 7-10 business days).

 Custom-configuring your Mac or personalizing your iPod may take additional time to prepare for shipment, and will increase
the 'Ships' timeframe.
The 'Delivers' timeframe is an estimate of when the item will be delivered to your shipping address after it ships. The estimated delivery
date depends on the shipping method you choose during checkout.

When you select expedited shipping, your item will take the same amount of time to prepare for shipment ('Ships'), but will expedite the
time it takes to deliver to your doorstep ('Delivers').

Shipping methods

The Apple Online Store U.S. offers a variety of shipping methods to meet your needs:

 Standard Shipping — This option is free on all qualifying products, except products that weigh more than 100 pounds or
orders under $50. Delivers within 6 business days after shipping.

 2 Day Shipping — Delivers within 2 business days after shipping.

 2-3 Day International Shipping — Delivers within 2 to 3 business days after shipping.
 Next Business Day — Delivers within 1 business day after shipping.
Shipping costs

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed before you complete your order on the Apple Online Store. You can also see shipping costs
on the Order Acknowledgment email and on online Order Status. If you order multiple items, you may receive separate shipments. You
will receive a Shipment Notification email for each shipment with the carrier's name and tracking information, if available. Shipping fees
for the entire order will be charged when your first item is shipped.

Signature on Delivery
Once your order has prepared for shipment or has shipped, we are unable to change the shipping address.

Most of our shipments contain valuable items, so our carriers are required to obtain a signature upon delivery. However, orders delivered
by DHL Global Mail / United States Postal Service do not require a signature.

For a U.S. order that requires a signature on delivery, Apple offers several easy options for you to receive your package. Please note that
the carrier makes three delivery attempts before returning your package to Apple.

Option 1: Pre-sign with Apple

As your items ship, you will receive a Shipment Notification email with carrier and tracking information for each of your shipments. To
pre-sign with Apple, please visit online Order Status and click the “Pre-sign for this shipment” link next to the appropriate Tracking
Number. If you are unable to access the pre-sign form, please call Apple Store Customer Service at 1-800-676-2775.
Follow the instructions to print and complete the “Shipment Release Authorization” form and leave it on your door for the carrier prior to
8:00 a.m. the day of expected delivery.

You can designate a preferred delivery location (e.g., front door, back door, immediate neighbor, or building manager). If you designate
an address other than the one specified on the package, someone must sign for the package.

If you want to pre-sign for more than one shipment, you need to print, sign, and leave a Shipment Release Authorization for each one.

For safety and security reasons, all deliveries are subject to the driver's discretion.

Option 2: Sign the package

Anyone over the age of eighteen at the designated shipping address can sign for the package.

Option 3: Sign to release your shipment to your address, an immediate neighbor, or a building manager

If you do not pre-sign for your package through Apple and you are not available for delivery, the carrier leaves a Delivery Notice on
your door after the first delivery attempt. Our carrier attempts delivery three times before returning your package to Apple.

If you will not be available for one of the delivery attempts, sign the Delivery Notice and leave it on your door prior to the next delivery
attempt.

You can designate a preferred delivery location (e.g., front door, back door, immediate neighbor, building manager). If you designate an
address other than the one specified on the package, someone must sign for the package.
Option 4: Pickup package at carrier’s local office

After the first delivery attempt, you can request to pick up your package at our carrier’s local facility. Call the number on the carrier's
Delivery Notice and inform the carrier that you want to pick up your package in person.

To pickup your shipment, you'll need the Delivery Notice and both of the following IDs:

 A government-issued ID (e.g., driver's license, passport, residency card) that matches the name and address on the package
 A second ID with your name on it (e.g., credit card, social security card)
The carrier can release the package only to the person designated in the shipping address.

Gift Messaging
For most items in our store, you can include a free gift message on the packing slip. No pricing information will be included with the
shipment.
When you select to put an item in your cart, just select the checkbox that says “This is a gift” or “Add a free gift message.” On the Cart
page, click the "Add Free Gift Message" link, enter your message, and click the "Save Message" link.

If you're sending a gift directly to a friend or family member, you may want Apple to email them carrier and tracking information as their

At this time, the Apple Online Store does not support shipping items in a single order to multiple shipping addresses. To send gifts to

Gift Wrapping
When you order a new iPod, iPad, MacBook, MacBook Pro, or select Apple-branded software and accessories, you can add a special
touch to your gift: the Apple Gift Package (subject to availability). The Apple Gift Package is a signature gift box with a red ribbon and a
greeting card with your personal message.

Computer gift packaging is only available for standard configuration models of MacBook and MacBook Pro.

To add gift packaging:


 When you add an iPod, iPad, or portable Mac to your cart, just select the checkbox that says "This is a gift," and you will
automatically be given the option to add gift packaging.

can use up to six Apple Gift Cards for one transaction when you purchase at an Apple Retail Store. You can combine your Apple Gift
Card(s) with one credit card to pay for your purchase.

 How to Use iTunes Gift Cards and Certificates


To use an iTunes Gift Card or Certificate you must first download the latest version of iTunes.

Gift Cards and Certificates are valid for use only in the country in which they were purchased. Only residents of the U.S may redeem
gift certificates purchased in the U.S.

To redeem iTunes Gift Cards or Certificates, go to the iTunes Store and in the “Quick Links” section in the right column, select
“Redeem.” Or go to the iTunes Store "Redeem Code" area directly by visitingapple.com/itunes/store/gifts.html

In the resulting screen, enter your iTunes Gift Card or Certificate code in the field. If you are redeeming an iTunes Gift Card you need
to use the 16-digit code on the back of your card (to be scratched off). If you are redeeming an iTunes Gift Certificate you need to use
the certificate number listed on your email certificate. Enter the numbers exactly as they appear.

Once you redeem your iTunes Gift Card or Certificate, the full amount appears as a credit next to your Apple ID in the upper-right
part of the window. Any time you buy an item, the purchase price (+ tax) will be deducted from the balance.

AT&T coverage

AT&T has the largest digital wireless voice and data network in America and is the exclusive wireless carrier for iPhone in the U.S.

You can use the AT&T Coverage Viewer to check AT&T network coverage in your area by entering your address or ZIP code. An
interactive map lets you zoom in or out to see coverage areas.
Activation

Activating and syncing your iPhone is simple. Just download the latest version of iTunes, connect to your computer, and iTunes will
guide you through the simple process of syncing content such as music, video, bookmarks, and contacts.
Activation requirements

You need an Internet connection and iTunes 8.2 or later to activate iPhone. You can download iTunes for free for Mac or PC. You also
need to create an Apple ID if you don't already have one. An Apple ID account allows you to preview and buy music, TV shows,
movies, applications, games, and more so that you can enjoy them on your iPhone. While this account is free, a credit card is required for
setup. Your card is not charged by Apple until you make a purchase from the iTunes Store or App Store.
AT&T rate plans

All AT&T plans for iPhone include unlimited data for email and web, Visual Voicemail, unlimited mobile-to-mobile calling within the
AT&T network, nationwide long distance and roaming, call forwarding, call waiting, three-way calling, and caller ID. Additionally, you
can choose a messaging plan.
Please contact AT&T for information about applicable fees, including activation and early termination charges.

Transferring your mobile number

If you are transferring a mobile number, the process may take as little as 15 minutes or up to 6 hours to complete. If you are transferring
a home number, the process may take up to 5-7 days to complete. While the transfer is in process, you will be able to make outgoing
calls with your iPhone; however, incoming calls will be sent to your current phone.

When the transfer is complete, you will receive a text message. Transferring a number from another wireless carrier ends your current
service and termination fees may apply.

More activation details

All plans require a two-year AT&T service agreement and are subject to AT&T credit approval. An early termination fee may apply if
service is terminated before the end of the contract term. (In the U.S., you must be 18 years old to enter into a legally binding contract.)
You must activate iPhone with an AT&T plan to use its features, including iPod and Internet capabilities. Refer to the AT&T Service

iPhone comes with 90 days of technical support. In addition, your iPhone, its rechargeable battery, and all included accessories are

Accessory compatibility

While there are thousands of accessories that have been designed specifically for iPod, not all of these are fully compatible with iPhone.
This is because cell phones can cause audio interference with some accessories.

To ensure the best possible customer experience, Apple has created special iPhone compatibility requirements for accessory
manufacturers. Products that are engineered and certified to be compatible with iPhone carry a "Works with iPhone" logo on the
packaging.

If you connect iPhone to an accessory that was not made to work with iPhone, you can activate Airplane Mode while connected to the
accessory. This will avoid any potential audio interference, but you will not be able to make or receive calls. If you choose not to activate
Airplane Mode, you will still be able to make and receive calls, but you may experience some audio interference.

Returns and refunds

iPhone Return Policy


If you are not fully satisfied with your iPhone purchase, you can return your undamaged iPhone to the Apple Online Store within 30
calendar days from shipment for a full refund. Please visit online Order Statusor call 1-800-676-2775 to request a return. If you return
your iPhone within 30 calendar days from shipment, you will not be charged a restocking fee. The iPhone must be returned in the
original packaging, including any accessories, manuals, and documentation.
Service Cancellation
If your iPhone is returned to our warehouse within 30 days from the date of shipment, your wireless service will be cancelled
automatically and you will not be charged an early termination fee. You will be responsible for all applicable usage fees, prorated access
charges, taxes, surcharges, or other charges through the termination date. Please contact AT&T for more information about applicable

Learn to Play - Basic & Artist Lessons
Learn to Play lessons are great way to to enhance your ability to make music, and are available exclusively through GarageBand ’09,
which is included in Apple’s iLife ‘09 software suite of applications. GarageBand allows you to create and record music, make podcasts,
and play with your own virtual band! Learn more about iLife and GarageBand.
There are two types of Learn to Play lessons: Basic Lessons and Artist Lessons. GarageBand comes with several Basic Lessons, and you
can download additional Basic Lessons to use in GarageBand. You can also purchase Artist Lessons through the GarageBand Lesson
Store in select countries. These Artist Lessons feature contemporary artists that teach you how to play their songs on piano or guitar.

Playing Learn to Play Lessons


To play a Basic Lesson or purchased Artist Lesson, launch GarageBand and navigate to the Learn to Play area. You can play the free and
purchased content you’ve downloaded. To preview new content or make new purchases, go to the Lesson Store.
Previewing Learn to Play Lessons
You can preview Basic Lessons before you download them, and Artist Lessons before you purchase them. Just launch GarageBand and
click on the Lesson Store tab. Then, click either the Basic Lessons or Artist Lessons tab in the main area of the window. To preview the
lessons you’re interested in, click anywhere within the rectangle (except the “Buy Now” button) and the preview starts playing.
Purchasing and Downloading Artists Lessons
When you purchase Artist Lessons, you receive your content instantly! Once you’re in the Lesson Store and you find the Artist Lesson
you like, simply click the Buy Now button. You’ll be asked to sign-in with your Apple ID and password.
An Apple ID and password is required to purchase Artist Lessons in GarageBand. If you don’t have an Apple ID, click the “create an
Apple ID” link and follow the instructions. Refer to the Your Account section of online Help to learn more about the benefits of an
Apple ID, or to find/reset your Apple ID or password.
Enter your payment information (e.g., credit card information, billing address), and click the “Buy Now” button.

GarageBand automatically launches the Learn to Play area, where you can see your lesson being downloaded. Once your download
completes, just click the Play button to enjoy!

Retrieving downloaded Artist Lessons


If your Artist Lesson does not automatically begin downloading, you quit GarageBand before your lesson finished downloading, or you
do not see your purchased lessons in GarageBand, there are a few ways to retrieve your content:
1. Re-open GarageBand and your content will resume downloading where it left off.
2. View and re-download your Artist Lesson purchases by visiting the Downloadable Software Purchases section of Your
Account.

The QuickTime family of software gives users a multimedia framework capable of handling digital video, media clips, sound, text,

Engrave Your iPod or iPad
Want to make your new iPod or iPad your own? You can engrave any model of new iPad, iPod shuffle, iPod nano, iPod classic, and iPod
touch. Personalized laser engraving is only available on the Apple Online Store. Engraving is not offered on refurbished products.

After you select your iPod or iPad from the Apple Online Store, you will be offered the option to enter up to one line of text for iPod
shuffle and iPod nano, and up to two lines of text for iPod classic, iPod touch, and iPad. As you type, you’ll see an image on the left side
of the page that represents what your text will look like. The text will be engraved near the top, on the back of the product, just like it
appears in the image.

Please make sure that everything is spelled correctly, as your engraved product cannot be returned. You may wish to review our Sales
and Refunds Policy. You may be able to make changes to the engraved text or cancel your item if online Order Status indicates that your

How to Customize

1. Choose whether you’d like a portable or desktop computer.


2. Select the model you want.
3. You will automatically be directed to the "Customize your Mac" page. Just select the radio button next to the configuration
option(s) you’d like. The dollar amount that will be added (or subtracted) from your Subtotal is clearly listed next to each option.
The Subtotal, ‘Ships’ timeframe, and Specifications summary at the top right of the screen will update as you choose options.
4. When you are finished building your Mac, click the "Add to Cart" button.

Refurbished Products

Apple Certified Refurbished Products are pre-owned Apple products that undergo a rigorous refurbishment process prior to being offered
for sale. We back these products with our standard one-year limited warranty. For extended coverage, you have the option of purchasing
the AppleCare Protection Plan with any Apple Certified Refurbished Mac or iPod.
Refurbishment Process

Each Apple Certified Refurbished Product:

 is fully tested (including full burn-in testing)


 is refurbished with replacement parts for any defective modules identified in testing
 is thoroughly cleaned and inspected
 is repackaged (including appropriate manuals, cables, new boxes, etc.)
 includes the operating software originally shipped with the unit and the custom software offered with that system
 is given a new refurbished part number and serial number
 is placed into a final QA inspection prior to being added to sellable refurbished stock
Refurbishment procedures follow the same basic technical guidelines as Apple's Finished Goods testing procedures.

Clearance Items

Clearance Items are new, unopened products from Apple and other manufacturers offered with special pricing.

 No Engraving or Gift Wrapping
