Q1. Only face cards are well shuffled. A card is drawn at random. Write the
probability of getting a queen. (Ans = 1/3)

Q2. Two dice are rolled once. Write the probability of getting a duplet. (Ans= 1/6)

Q3. Two dice are rolled once. Write the probability of getting a second multiple of 7
(Ans= 0)

Q4. Two dice are rolled once. Write the probability of getting numbers, whose product
is a perfect square. (Ans= 2/9)

Q5. Find the probability of getting 53 Sundays in a leap year. (Ans= 2/7)

Q6. A bag contains 12 balls out of which x are black. If 6 more black balls are put in
the box , the probability of drawing a black ball is now double that of what it was
earlier. Find x. (Ans= 3)

Q7. A box contains some ball pens and some gel pens. If the probability of a ball pen
is half of the gel pen and number of gel pen is 50. Find total number of pen and
probability of ball pen. (Ans=75,1/3)

Q8. A bag contains x number of black marbles and some white marbles. Number of
white marbles is two more than half of the black marbles. If total number of
marbles is 14, find probability of a black and also a white marble. (Ans x=8,
4/7,3/7)

Q9. If 65% of the population has black eyes, 25% have brown eyes and the remaining
has blue eyes. What is the probability that a person selected at random has (i)blue
eyes (ii) brown or black eyes (iii) neither blue nor brown eyes.

Q10. What is the probability that month February has five Wednesday in a
(i) leap year
(ii) a non leap year (Ans = 2/7,2/7)
