Technology Requirements: Technology Resources


In addition to the equipment and software listed in the course syllabus, you should CWID/password help: 903-468-6000
also have internet access/connection. High speed is highly recommended (not dial or [email protected]
up). Our campus is optimized to work in a Microsoft Windows environment. This
means our courses work best if you use a Windows operating system (XP or eCollege help: 1-866-656-5511 or
newer) and a recent version of Microsoft Internet Explorer (8.0). Your courses will [email protected]
also work with Macintosh OS X along with a recent version of Safari 2.0 or better.
Along with Internet Explorer and Safari, eCollege also supports the Firefox
browser (3.0) on both Windows and Mac operating systems. Deadlines

I strongly recommend you perform a “Browser Test” as soon as possible. To
[Week 7, Sunday]
launch a browser test, login to eCollege, click on the “myCourses” tab, and then

I rely mainly on email, the discussion board, class announcements located on the

eCollege home page, and comments on assignments to communicate with students.
Reflective Statement
I also encourage you to visit me in person (if you are on campus) during office
hours. See syllabus for hours. I also welcome a phone call during office hours or
by appointment. While I reply to individual emails with non-campus email
addresses, if I send out a mass email it will go to your campus email address.
