EIM Mapping Steps

EIM Data Mapping

User Key

Type (Data Public)


Required (Checked)
User Key - IS NOT NULL

         Or

Table -> search name of base table


 Then – column -> userkeys->userkey column

Required Field

Type - Data Public


Required Field (Checked)

Foreign Key

Required Field (Checked)


Foreign Key Table -  IS NOT NULL

U will find the foreign key columns.. leave CREATED_BY , LAST_UPD_BY Columns and use rest of
columns as f.k columns

                                           OR

Foreign key can be found in EIM Interface Table ->Eim Table Mapping -> Attribute Mapping ->
Forign Key Mapping ->F.K Mapping Column

Business Columns ( UI Level Fields Columns)


That you know how to find the Columns
First find the table level Base table columns and then find  EIM Columns

To find EIM Table column For Corresponding Base Table

1. First Find the Eim Table to the corresponding Base Table

Click Flat Mode - > EIM Table Mapping - > Search with Base Table in the (Destination Table)
– u will find list of EIM Tables .Take one EIM Table and start find Mapping Columns in the
Types Mode

2. Find Eim Columns for Base Table Columns


         EIM Interface Table -> search with EIM Table then go to EIM Table Mapping -> point out in
appropriate base table 
then go to Attribute Mapping -> u will have list of EIM Columns for Base columns ,then take
those EIM  Columns..
