5 Convert the hexadecimal number “1 2 A” to its decimal equivalent 5
number and hence find its binary equivalent number.

7 In how many ways we can form a committee of 5 persons, from a group 5
of six men and four women, which has at least 3 women?
8 Write truth table and determine whether the following statement is a 5
tautology or contradiction, [ ∼ (p → q) ] ↔ (∼ p ∨q)
9 Find whether the following relation is an equivalence relation on the set 5
of all people. The relation is: “two persons x and y are related if x and y
are studying in the same class.”
10 On set A = {1, 2, 3, 4} an equivalence relation is given by, 5
R = {(1, 1), (2, 2), (3,3), (3, 2), (2, 3), (3, 4), (4,3), (4,4)}. Write matrix
of relation R. Also write equivalence class of 3.
