Configuring the Skyedge Pro


Components Required:

SkyEdge Pro

1 x VSAT ID number which will be provided by Pacific Teleports.

Tools Requied:
1 x PC or Laptop with Ethernet port
1 x Lan cable

Configure your PC with the following settings: (The default IP address of the
Skyedge is 192.168.1.1)

Power up the SkyEdge Pro

Connect your PC to PortA on the Skyedge Pro using the LAN cable

Make sure you can ping the device

Open a browser window and browse to http://192.168.1.1 The following Screen Should Appear

Click on Installer and enter the following login details

User name: inst


password: $Sat2598$

NB:// From the front panel, the password is 44528

Determine from the Charts below if your VSAT lies in the South East or the South West Pacific Satellite Beam, if your VSAT lies in both beams, please
contact Pacific Teleports for advice on which beam to use.

Once your Beam has been chosen use the following configurations for your VSAT Terminal

NB// Make sure that you have been given a VSAT ID by Pacific Teleports prior to configuring the Terminal.

Click the Submit button at the top of the screen

Click on OK Click on OK

Click the Reset button on the side of the screen

Click OK Click OK

Once the SkyEdge PRO has restarted, log back into the VSAT to check that your settings have been saved.
