Presentation Name: Voice Aided Email Alert

This document describes a voice-aided email alert system created by a group of students. The system allows visually impaired users to compose, send, read and delete emails using voice commands. It connects to email servers using POP3 and SMTP protocols to retrieve and send emails. The system aims to make email more accessible for visually impaired people by enabling key email functions through speech instead of a visual interface. It addresses challenges in speech recognition, text-to-speech conversion and integrating with email protocols. The document outlines the system requirements, architecture, modules and provides screenshots of the voice-enabled email application.

 CONCLUSION
INTRODUCTION
• Visually impaired people are denied of a lot of
modern technology.
• Visually impaired people were not able to stay
connected through mails.
• The revolutionary email services cannot be replaced
by any other technologies.
• Therefore the developer has thought of designing a
prototype voice driven mail solution.

3
OBJECTIVE
• to enable a user to compose and send email-s
through voice.
• The project also provides strong methods and
modules for speech driven technology which can be
further upgraded to suite the other speech driven
technology.

4
EXISTING SYSTEM
• There are hardware supports which
facilitate various helps to blinds, starting
from Braille prints of special keyboards

• But non of service providers starting from

Yahoo, MSN, G-Mail nobody are being into
developing solution for the visually
impaired people or handicapped people.

• There have been no SMTP and Pop3

service providers who are providing
eminent supports for blinds.
PROPOSED SYSTEM
• Voice aid
• Sending Email alert
• Compose and Send
• Read
• Delete
CHALLENGES
• The main technical challenge which developer faced is that to
convert text to speech and vice-versa.

• Understanding the fundamental functions of speech recognition.

• Using Pop3 protocol for sending the mail to the corresponding

address.
