Data Comm&Computer Networks

This document outlines the course contents for a class on data communication and computer networks. The course is divided into 5 modules that cover the layers of the OSI model from physical to application. Module I introduces computer networks and transmission media. Module II covers data link protocols like HDLC and PPP. Module III discusses medium access control protocols. Module IV examines network layer concepts like routing algorithms. Module V presents the transport layer with TCP and UDP, and the application layer. The document also lists 3 textbooks and 3 references for the course.
