De-Glitch

All in all it's just another Glitch in the Call!

Event Description:

The event will test the participant's ability to locate and fix or bypass bugs in a program code and to complete a program with
a desired objective.

Preliminary Round (45 minutes-1 hour):

It will test the basic programming concepts and logical skills. Separate papers for first years and other years. Selected teams
advance to the final round.

Final Round (2-3 hours):

Each team will be assigned a computer that will contain program codes in an undisclosed language(the required
documentation will be provided). The codes will contain bugs and/or missing statements that have to be removed and fixed
to get a specified output. Standard compilers will be provided.

Rules:
• Team event - Maximum 2 members per team.

• Decision of the judges will be final and binding.

Can you breathe and talk in C++?

Format
The event will have 2 rounds.

The first round will be written and a separate paper will be provided for first years and the rest of the years. Basic knowledge
of C++ and problem solving and algorithm skills will be tested.

The second round will be practical and computer based. The participants will be judged on the basis of code performance and
number of problems solved in the stipulated time.

Rules
• Team of 2 event
• Decision of judges will be final and binding.
