HOW TO INSTALL

The package of School Management System consists of multiple modules which could be installed on a single
system or different systems. But in both cases database files are installed on a single computer ( i.e. Server )

Case A : Single Computer Case B : Network ( LAN )

HOW TO INSTALL

Installation of Database
1. Create a folder for database on any appropriate location on server ( eg: D:\Schoo Database ). Drives
other than C: drive are better choice for database location.
2. Paste the blank school database in this folder.
3. If you are establishing a Client / Server system on LAN then share the folder of database with full rights.

Installation of software modules


1. Install database engine ( MDAC_TYP.exe ) on each PC.
2. Install setups for reports ( CR 9.2 RDC-Des.msi , CR 9.2 RDC-Run.msi , CR 9.2 RptEng.msi ) on
each PC.
3. Next run setups of one or more modules ( eg: Student Information ) on target PCs.
