P? OBJECTIVE :- Analysis of language text using a frequency table.

P? PROCEDURE :-

i.? Select any paragraph from a newspaper ,magazine or a text book.


ii.? Read the paragraph and obtain a frequency table for the number of times the
vowel occurs.
iii.? Note the number of times 2 letter words,3 letter words,4letter words & 5 letter
words and obtain a frequency table..
iv.? Note down the number of times the noun occurs & obtain a frequency table.

Ques 1) Which vowel is most Frequently used?

Ans 1) The vowel ͞E͟ is most Frequently used.

Que 2)Which vowel is leastFrequently used?

Ans 2) The vowel ͞I͟ is least Frequently used.

Que 3) Compare the Frequency of 2,3,4& 5 letter words?

Ans 3) Ideal Frequency = 10.Two letter words = 1 time.

Three letter words = 2.4 times.

Four letter words = 0.9 times.

Five letter words = 0.6 times.

Que 4) Find the total number of nouns used in the paragraph &
mention if any of them are repated ?

Ans 4) 11(eleven) nouns are used in total. The noun Chtsal is used 4
times & dog is used 3 times.
PARAGRAPH:-

After the cat, a dog.Chtsal, ashamed of his nakedness, was frightened to approach the
well covered, furry animals which radiated the sort of uncertain silly niceness that some
of the creatures on chtsal͛s own planet displayed. The dog growled and wagged his tale.
Chtsal sensed that it might attack him, or adore him or both. The dog licked him.
Disgusted, Chtsal left it. The dog stared after him wagging it͛s tale.It did not follow.
