This document outlines the objectives, requirements, and scope of a project to develop an online examination evaluation system. The key objectives are to save time, allow quick evaluation of results, and provide a platform for exam preparation and accuracy improvement. The system will use JDK 1.5, JDK 1.3, Apache Tomcat proxy server, and MS Access. Diagrams will illustrate the server workings, directory structure, flow charts, entity-relationship model, and data flow diagrams. Some limitations include requiring a Windows environment and pointing device. The scope involves storing large amounts of data for future use, ensuring accuracy and correct information, and making tasks easier and modular.

LIMITATIONS OF THE
PROPOSED SYSTEM
A few limitations with the current version of the software.
These may be summarized as follows:

The user has to be acquainted with the windows

environment before they can operate on the new system.

The user need to acquire a device such as Mouse, Touchpad

other than the Keyboard. The system needs both the use of
a keyboard and the pointing device.

Printing of any record is not supported.

SCOPE OF THE PROPOSED
SYSTEM
Storing huge amount of data for further use in the future.

Accuracy and correct information.

Making the task easier and modular.

All possible features have been considered and if required
the system can be developed in the future as and when the
need arises.

CONCLUSIONS

1 CONCLUSION REMARKS

The process of developing the software - ‘JAVA ADDRESS BOOK’ was a unique experience
for me. The process of development saw me maneuver the various ups and downs, which
appeared at each stage of development of the software. Especially, as the system was
handling sensitive data, each needed proper scrutinity. Moreover, during the analysis of the
existing system, many new situations were faced, which required expertise in handling.

2 SCOPE FOR FUTURE WORKS

Software development is a never-ending process and continues throughout the life of the
software as per changing needs of the users from time to time. The software has been
developed keeping in mind , easy modifications and enhancement that may be
implemented in the future. The programming standards are maintained throughout the
project, making it a reusable product whenever necessary.
