Level Description

Minimal information on the topic. May contain description with little to no


1 elaboration or examples.

Adequate amount of information on the topic with description and examples, but
2 lacks complete explanation of the topic.

Thoroughly explains topic using easily understandable descriptions and


3 supported by multiple examples.

Organization

Level Description

Little to no organization. Lacks most organizational features such as headings,


1 table of contents, and tags.

Contains most organizational features and/or the features are improperly used or
2 formatted.

3 Headings, table of contents, and tags1 are used and properly and accordingly.

Presentation

Level Description

1 Little or no multimedia content (pictures, videos, links, etc)

Multimedia content does not support the textual content. Multimedia content is
2 not used or formatted properly and/or obtrusive. Inadequate use of multimedia
content.

Multimedia content supports textual content by increasing the understanding of


3 the main topic. Content is formatted properly and placed in a manner that is
unobtrusive.
Accuracy

Level Description

Content is poorly referenced. Information is obtained from one to two

sources. Content contains many spelling/grammatical errors.

An adequate amount of the content is referenced. Information on the topic

is obtained from many sources. Few to no spelling/grammatical mistakes.

Collaboration

Wikis are most powerful when content is created by a collective of people rather than one
individual. Review the wikis of your fellow classmates and make a content-adding edit or post
a constructive comment or question in the discussion area for that page. Write a brief
description of the edit or discussion post.
