07 Simulation Design

The simulation software Multisim 9 was used to design a circuit simulation. An FM voltage source of 5V replaced the signal from an antenna, with a carrier frequency of 280 kHz and message signal of 100 Hz. The output of the circuit through a 1pf capacitor from the collector of Q3 was viewed on an oscilloscope, showing an output waveform of 3.4 Vpp around 273 kHz.

Simulation Design

The simulation software called Multisim 9 was used for simulation. It is a

software given by Electronics Workbench Corporation.

The circuit prepared in this software is as follows.

FM voltage source +5v was used instead of the signal received via antenna.

The carrier frequency is 280 kHz while the message signal is 100 Hz.

The output can be seen from the oscilloscope xsc1 through the 1pf capacitor
fron collector of Q3.
The output waveform is as below.

The output wave is 3.4 Vpp.

The frequency of the wave is around 273 kHz.
