1.0 INTRODUCTION
Introduce in 1995 as a low-cost competitor to CAD.
SolidWorks is a parasolid-based solid modeler, and
utilizes a parametric feature-based approach to create
models and assemblies.
SolidWorks Version History:-

SW1995 ~ SW2009 (current)

2.0 SOLIDWORKS Ver. 2004
A. Introduce to items for SolidWorks 2004
B. Create 2D drawings
C. Create 3D drawings
D. Example of Solidworks drawing
E. Exercises
F. Assembles of parts
G. Exercises
H. Drawing
3.0 Introduction to SolidWorks 2004
3.1 Getting started:-
Double click on the desktop for solidworks 2004 icon or
go to start >program>solidworks 2004
Dialog box appear. Consist of 3 selection of icon parts,
assembly and drawing.
Parts:- design features or model
Assembly:- assemble different kinds of part to produce
another models
Drawings:- view through the models

Some example using sketch tools:-

A. Fillet B. Chamfer
5.0 Create 3D Drawings
3D drawing produced after the sketch made was
extruded or revolved.
The extruded and revolved icon can be found at the
features icon

Try to create a sketch of any shapes and extruded or

revolved it.
5. Exercise
Try do the model by your own:-
Example at online tutorial..parts
Shape of bottle
