 Fractures
 Other

body temperature

CADENA DE SUPERVIVENCIA
DEFINITION

 Clinical syndrome characterized by:


 Apnea
 Lack of pulse
Unconsciousness. (Lack of oxygen causes the
heart and brain).

 C = CIRCULATION

 Shout and shake the shoulders of the victim.
 If you do not respond to an emergency call.

 Open the airway with one hand on the forehead

palm on the first with arms outstretched
perpendicular to the chest.
 Compress exerting firm pressure and vertical in one
motion.
 Compress the center of the chest 30 times to 100 per
minute
 The chest should fall 5 inches

 Continue with two breaths and thirty
compressions until the arrival of emergency
equipment or a defibrillator.

and circulation in cardiac arrest situations.
Se suspende la RCP cuando:

 Respire y tenga pulso.


 Llegue ayuda médica.
 El reanimador esté exhausto.
 Tras 30 minutos de reanimación sin
recuperación de pulso y respiración, salvo en
casos de ahogamiento por agua helada,
intoxicación o en niños, en los que el tiempo
se reanimación se puede alargar.
