First Draft Script

In a pitch black room, a soldier is interrogated by an unknown voice, his face covered by a plastic bag. The voice demands to know why the soldier did not kill someone, but the soldier claims not to know what is happening. When the soldier refuses to answer, the voice threatens consequences. The soldier then shouts "F-f-f-fuck you!" at the voice, after which he screams as the sole light in the room suddenly turns off.

SETTING: A pitch black room. Suddenly a single light shines.

The
camera then focuses on the back of THE SOLDIER’s head.
Suddenly, THE VOICE, which has been processed to describe the
identity of THE VOICE speaks.
“Comrade, Why did you not do it?”
The camera then shows a shot of the mans face, which is
covered by a plastic bag.
With anxiety in his voice, THE MAN replies.
“Who are you? What’s going on?”
The camera once again focuses on the light. Halfway between
the the next speech the camera cuts back to the man with a
plastic bag over his head.
THE VOICE barks back
“Shut the fuck up and tell me why you didn’t kill him”
There is a short pause for about two or three seconds.
The camera slowly runs up the mans body from his torso to
his head.
THE MAN replies in a worried voice
“I don’t know what you’re going about, I-“
The camera then cuts back to the light.
THE VOICE interrupts, in a very angry way and shouts.
““Come on you fucking poof tell me! I have some awful
consequences lined up if you don’t tell me!”
The camera stares at the man for half a second, the camera is
panning between shots of the light and the man.
There is another pause of a few seconds
THE MAN then, with a bit of courage evident in his voice, shouts
back
“F-f-f-fuck you!”
Suddenly, the man screams, the screen shakes and the camera
pans to the light which is providing the light which suddenly turns
off.

END.
