PF40 Step Logic

The document describes the step logic functions of a PowerFlex40 drive. It allows for up to 8 configurable steps that can control frequency, direction, and timing of a motor. Digital and analog inputs can be used with logic, timer, and counter functions to control stepping through the sequence. The functions provide flexibility for applications like speed profiling, indexing, traversing, and parts counting.

Step Logic Programming
• 4 digit code defines step actions
• Digit 3
• Defines the action during the current step
• Digit 2
• Defines what step to jump to when Digit 1 logic met
• Digit 1
• Defines the logic required for the “jump”
• Digit 0
• Defines the logic for the “next” step (numeric progression)
