DCN Over Traffic

DCN over Traffic

This document illustrates how to configure DCN over traffic.


Prerequisites:
1. A pair of E1 cables (BNC to SMZ connecter) from ADR or Sagem radio to the TN traffic panel
2. Connect ADR/Sagem to the free E1 port on NPU or LTU
Method:
1. Click Configuration tab
2. Click DCN tab
3. Click DCN over traffic hyperlink

4. Click DCN over dedicated E1 radio and then click apply.

5. Chose the Interface you want to use and select the respective unit (LTU or NPU)
6. Select respective E1 and click select then apply

If this site is the end point configuration is done. If this is not the end point please proceed on step 7
7. Repeat method 5 and 6 on the second interface.

When this is done you should check if there is any alarm on the E1 and try to do normal E1
troubleshooting.
