SAP Backup & Recovery for DR Server

Backup : Take the online (or) Offline backup for the Recovery strategy.

Recovery :

1. Brtools – Restore Recovery - Disaster Recovery

2. select continue for 2 times


3. If we have taken the entire data backup, then select 1. If we have taken only Archive file
backup then select option 2.

4. select 1 (local tape)

5. Continue with the settings, it will show the available logs and we need to continue here. It
will copy the log files.

6. After the log files are copied we need to restore the data files, to do that we need to issue the
folloiwng command

brrestore -b <filename> -m full


ex : brrestore -b beccwdop.aft -m full

Here it will check for the parameters and it will ask some questions, give appropriate data and
proceed further.
