INSTALLATION PROCESS

STEP1: FOR VISTA OS NO NEED TO INSTALL IIS AND WINDOWS


INSTALLER

STEP2: FOR XP OS U NEEDS TO INSTALL IIS AND WINDOWS INSTALLER.

IIS U CAN INSTALL FROM UR CORRESPONDING XP OS-CD.


Insert XP OS-CD Start  SettingsControl PanelAdd/Remove Programs
Add/Remove Windows Components Mark Internet Information servicesclick
Next

WINDOWS INSTALLER AVAILABLE IN SQLSERVER 2005 DVD.


OPEN SQLSERVER DVD  SQL Server X86 SERVERS REDIST
WINDOWS INSTALLERDOUBLE CLICK ON INSTALLER ICON.

Make Sure That before Installing SQL Server In Ur Desktop U Have To Install IIS
And Windows Installer.

STEP1: Double click on SQL Server Icon

STEP2: Click on X86-based operating systems


 Mark I accept the licensing terms and conditions
 Select all the Services and click Next
 Select Default instance

 Here u have to select Use the built-in System account


Select Mixed Mode and Enter password Confirm password (sa123)
Click Finish and open Sql Server Management Studio
