Digital Ic Applications

This document outlines the units covered in a course on digital IC applications. Unit I covers CMOS logic, its steady state and dynamic electrical behavior, and CMOS logic families. Unit II discusses bipolar logic, transistor logic families, interfacing CMOS and TTL, and low voltage CMOS logic. Unit III introduces VHDL for hardware description. Unit IV covers structural, data flow, and behavioral design elements in VHDL. Units V through VII detail combinational and sequential logic design using VHDL, including decoders, adders, and sequential elements. Unit VIII examines ROM, SRAM, and DRAM internal structures and timing. Textbooks and references on digital design principles, VHDL, and integrated
