How To Reduce, Reuse and Recycle - Instruction Essay

The document provides instructions for reducing, reusing, and recycling in order to help save the Earth from pollution. It suggests ways to reduce usage, such as using a stapler less or prioritizing needs over wants. Reusing items, like using plastic bags as garbage bags or handing down clothes, is an easy way to reduce waste. Recycling involves separating items into bins for biodegradable, non-biodegradable, paper, and bottles. Biodegradable items can be buried, while other recyclables like plastic and glass bottles and paper can be sold to junk shops. Practicing the 3Rs of reduce, reuse, and recycle can help save the planet from serious harm from pollution.

How to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle

No man can live outside planet Earth. We all know it, and still we continue

ruining it ourselves by polluting it big time. If this foolishness continues, we’ll have no

place to go. We can save the Earth from the great disaster called “pollution” by doing

these 3Rs: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.

Reduce. Did you know that our staple wire usage, if added all in all, would sum

up to 100 kg per day? Now, if we do not touch that precious little stapler for just a day,

that would be a helping kilogram to save. We can reduce in so many countless ways,

and it’s always better to start in you. Prioritize your NEEDS rather than you’re your

WANTS. Buy clothes only if you need it. Always make it a point that you consider the

quality of everything you buy.

Reuse. Well, we can safely say that reusing is the sister of recycling. It’s just

that, it is so simple you’ll just use a certain thing to its extent or using the used material

in other, more creative way. Reuse things like plastic bags from supermarkets and

department stores, then use them at home as your garbage bag. Hand down clothes to

your younger siblings. Pick up those old research papers that have blank page behind

it and use it for fast draft printing. Reusing is as easy as 1-2-3.

Recycle. Now this is the most exciting part of saving the Earth from Dr. X,

because you’ll not just save our dear mother Gaia, you will actually earn from it. Here’s

how you do it: First, put up at least four trash bins. Second, put a color coding so that

little children may know what to throw which. Put also a label on each bins with

“Biodegradable, Non-Biodegradable, papers and bottles. After the bins have been filled

with rubbish, take it out of its bins and have readied for its new adventure. Dig the dirt

in your yard and bury the items that can easily rot, like the ones we could see in the

Biodegradable bins. Those rubbish that belong to the Non-biodegradable family should

be dragged straight to the curb. Separate the glass bottles from the plastic bottles and

bring it to the nearest junkshop. Take also with you the papers and have them weighed.

They will pay you accordingly.

To sum up all these, we can save the Earth from serious destruction by reducing,

reusing and recycling.
