• A self exited induction generator
• A grid connected induction generator

Apparatus
• Mowdskey general machine set
Induction machine : 3 phase, 2 pole, 50 Hz, 230 V (line), 6A,
Delta connected stator winding,
Star connected wound rotor.
2700 rpm, 2140 W full load operation.
DC dynamometer : 200/250 V, 15 A, 3 phase, DC shunt machine
• Stroboscope
• 3 phase Wattmeter
• AC Voltmeter (300V)
• 2 AC Ammeters (5A)
• Oscilloscope
• Isolating voltage transformer
• Frequency meter (5-10 Hz)
• 2 banks of variable resistive loads
• Capacitor bank (0-120 μF)
