Searching For one “right” answer
Deeply ingrained in most educational systems is the assumption that is one right answer to the problem. One correct answer syndrome should become the part of our thinking process There may be more than one solution to the problem so mind should be exercised in a way to think in more than one dimension Focusing in being logical Logical is a valuable part of the creative process, especially when evaluating ideas and implementing them. In the early imaginative phases getting more logical can be a restriction to the creativity. It is the crucial part of the creative process because using it often requires one to tear down long standing assumptions that limit creativty and innovation Barriers To Creativity Blindly following the rules Creativity some times depends on our ability to break the existing rules so that we can see new ways of doing things. Constantly Being Practical Imagining impractical answers to “what if” question can e powerful stepping stones to creative ideas. Viewing play as frivolous A playful attitude is fundamental to creative thinking. Play gives opportunity to reinvent reality and reformulate established ways of doing things. Creative people realize that trying something new often leads to failure It represents the learning experience on the way to success Failure is an important part of the creative process, it signals entrepreneur when to change their course of action When you fail find out why you failed and each time it will bring you nearer to goal.
