Cam: We’ve learned many ways to ask for help this week… and one of them would be “let me
know if I can help”.
Yajie: You would say that this way 要帮忙就通知我。
Cam: yao4 bang1 mang2 jiu4 tong1 zhi1 wo3.
YJ: yao4 is short for xu1 yao4, which means need,
Cam: yao4,
YJ: bang1 mang2 means help,
Cam: bang1 mang2.
YJ: jiu4 means as long as,
Cam: jiu4.
YJ: tong1 zhi1, to inform,
Cam: tong1 zhi1
YJ: wo3 means I.
Cam:wo3.
YJ: tong1 zhi1 wo3, means to let me know,
Cam: tong1 zhi1 wo3
YJ:yao4 bang1 mang2 jiu4 tong1 zhi1 wo3.
Cam: yao4 bang1 mang2 jiu4 tong1 zhi1 wo3. Let me know if I can help.

Conversation1:
Ａ：这次真是太谢谢你了！
Ｂ：别客气，要帮忙就通知我。
Ａ：好的。

YJ: And if somebody helps you, you will want to thank them.
Cam: I can say fei1 chang2 gan3 xie4, which means thanks a million.
