Energy Transfer Chart 1

Energy is transferred between members of a food chain from producers to primary and secondary consumers. A producer contained 752 calories which was passed to a primary consumer who received 75.2 calories after eating the producer. When a secondary consumer ate the primary consumer it obtained 7.52 calories, and a further secondary consumer only received 0.75 calories after consuming the previous secondary consumer.
