Assignment 01 MV

This document contains 7 questions regarding modeling spring-mass systems and damped harmonic oscillators using MATLAB. It involves determining damping constants, plotting variations in spring stiffness, modeling displacement, velocity and acceleration of particles over time, designing beams with specific stiffness requirements, plotting variations in natural frequency and time period, and modeling time variations of displacement, velocity and acceleration for a spring-mass system with initial conditions. It also includes deriving and solving the equation of motion for a spring-mass system vibrating on an inclined surface.
