ES File Explorer Pro -on-the-AIR

How to transfer files via hotspot (Phone-to-Phone)?

1. Both device should have ES File Explorer Pro installed.
2. Connect one device to another via hotspot. (It is not necessary which device will be the
receiver and which will be the sender. Any of each device could be the host.)
3. Open ES File Explorer Pro on both device.
4.
[For the sender]
Locate the file(s) to be sent. Select it then press menu (three vertical dots at the lower
right of the screen). Then choose Send. It will search for the device with on the same
connection. Select it then press Ok.
[For the receiver]
A notification will popup. Press Ok. Select the directory where you want the file(s) to
be received are placed. Then press Ok.
5. The transfer of file(s) will then process until finish. You can now exit ES File Explorer
Pro and close the hotspot connection as well.

How to transfer files via LAN (Phone-to-PC and vise versa)?

1. Your phone should have ES File Explorer Pro installed.
2. Your phone and your PC should be connected on the same router (no need for any data
subscription).
3.
[For PC]
Create a folder on C:/ directory. Name it any (say ES File SHARED Folder).
Right-click on it, then choose Properties.
Click on Sharing tab.
Click on Share... button, then add Everyone (from drop down listbox) with a
Read/Write Permission Level, then click Share.
*For preparation, see the IP address assigned to PC by the router via checking on
Details of the Ethernet or WiFi Status.
[For Phone]
Open ES File Explorer, then press menu.
Select Network then choose LAN, and then tap Scan.
It will search for devices which are connected on the same router. Choose the IP youve
seen on your PC.
It will show accessible folders on C:/ directory. Open the folder youve created (ES File
SHARED Folder).
4. From there, you can copy, cut, paste and delete files placed on that folder using your
phone via ES File Explorer Pro.

PS:
1. The IP address of the PC vary everytime, depende kung pang-ilan ito sa nai-connect na
device sa router. Usually, the routers IP address is 192.168.0.1. So the first device be
connected into it will be 192.168.0.2, and so on. Kung palaging PC at phone mo lang ang
naka-connect sa router, at laging nauuna ang PC i-connect sa router, then laging
192.168.0.2 ang magiging na i-a-assign ng router sa PC mo.
2. Once accomplished, you can edit the server on your ES File Explorer Pro to (IP
address of your PC)/(Name of the folder youve created) for easy access. Para din hindi
mo na makita yung iba pang folder na wala namang kinalaman sa pagfile transfer mo in
between your phone and PC.
Ex.: 192.168.0.2/ES File SHARED Folder
