Steps for the GW (Garden Wagon).

Equipment:
1 metre Water Pipe 20mm diameter.
1metre Ply wood
1 metre length of thin, plastic, bendable tubing
4 800g tins
A length of wood 40cm by 80cm
1.1m metal pipe 20mm diameter for handle
5cm pipe
Method:
Measure to length. The back and front of the G.W measure 32.2cm by 19cm . The sides 49.5cm by 19cm. The top and bottom 51cm by
32.2cm.
1. Measure total length of wood needed.
2. Nail into a box shape without the lid.
3. Make an axle by placing pieces of wood the length of the box. Make sure the wood is thin nail down put the two bits of wood at
each end. Make the pipe for the axles about 15cm longer than the box, then drill a hole at each end of the pipe about 10 mm
from the end.
4. Make the wheels out of 800g tins cut holes at the top and bottom of the weels as big as the pipes
5. Put wire in the holes at the end of the pipes remembers to put the wheels on first. Bend the wire so it can’t come off .
6. With a one metre pipe cut into ten evenly spaced bits slice the ends diagonly so they are sharp at the end.
7. Put holes in the tins so there are five evenly spaced holes. Glue pipes in holes .
8. Solder gaps where you opened it at the tops of each one.
9. Drill holes in the bottom of the front axle and another in the middle on the opposite side.
10. Attach one metre of thin clear bendable tubing to a 3 litre milk bottle, by drilling a hole though the lid and pushing the tube
through into the bottle, this should then be sealed so no water can come out.. Poke the other end of the tubing through the hole
you have made in the axle facing the milk bottle. Glue this in place.
11. Drill a hole at the top of the box for the handle
12. Next build the handle. Take some pipe for the handle and drill about 10 holes along the pipe 5cm apart. At one end of the pipe
put a stopper on the end so you can’t pull the pipe through the hole on top of the box, put a piece of wire so you can change the
length according to the height of the person. Now get a piece of pipe about 15cm long and solder to the top end of the 1.1m pipe
to make the pushing handle.
13. Paint the GW.
