    HydrologicalAnalysis

    1. General
    Detailed hydrological study of Samne Khola at Arghakhanchi for the proposed bridge site is
    carried out at Jhalari VDC, Kanchanpur District. The detail hydrological study has been carried
    out to find out the hydrological design parameters required for the bridge design. Bridge design
    parameters are linear waterway,scour depth and vertical clearance of bridge.
    1.1 HYDROLOGICAL FEATURES OF THE BASIN
    The purposed bridge site is lies at mid hill area and the basin is subtropical and varies
    depending on the distances from the plain to hills. Due to the unavailability of flood record at the
    proposed Bridge site, the river flow has to be estimated after finding some correlation with
    rainfall. The rainfall record of consequent years is presented at table 3-1.
