The Bishop's circular announces that three clergy from the Diocese will attend an international meeting at the Vatican on Pope Francis' apostolic exhortation Evangelii Gaudium. The three attendees, Msgr. Jesus Romulo C. Rañada, Rev. Fr. Albert N. Delvo, and Rev. Fr. Aristeo M. De Leon, will have their travel expenses partially covered by their institutions and the Diocese. Circular 2014-14 To:
All Parish Priests and Local Superiors of Religious Institutions
of Men and Women in the Diocese
The Pontifical Council for Promoting the New Evangelization is organizing
an International Meeting on Pope Francis Apostolic Exhortation Evangelii Gaudium on 18-20 September 2014 in the Vatican, which unfortunately I cannot attend due to my precious schedule in the Diocese. I would like that the Diocese sends three of our Clergy, particularly those involved in Education and Formation in the Diocese, namely Rt. Rev. Msgr. Jesus Romulo C. Raada Rev. Fr. Albert N. Delvo Rev. Fr. Aristeo M. De Leon. They will be helped for their trip by their respective Institutions and by the Diocese, aided a little by our meager coffers in the Diocese as to the air ticket of Fr. Aristeo de Leon and as to their accomodations at our Collegio Filippino in Rome, with the end in view of organizing a similar Forum in the Diocese to echo the fruits of that Meeting involving all pastoral workers in the Diocese: our priests and deacons, religious men and women, catechists and teachers in all schools and colleges in the Diocese: public, congregational, diocesan/parochial, and private non-sectarian. I am transmitting this information diocesan-wide for those others who may be interested to attend like Superiors and their equivalents in Religious Institutions and other heads of Pastoral offices and ministries in the Diocese. You can find all the information you need to participate in the Meeting by logging-in at the Pontifical Councils website: www.pcpne.va. Thank you so much for the kind attention. Given in the Chancery in Fairview, Quezon City, 7 August 2014. Most Rev. Antonio R. Tobias, DD Bishop Attested by: Rev. Fr. Reynaldo Percival S. Flores Chancellor
