Bently Nevada Setup

The document provides instructions for setting up equipment for analyzing shaft vibration, including a Bently Nevada rotor kit. Key steps include: ensuring the shaft is flush with the coupler; plugging in cables before powering on; placing probes in a staggered formation; adjusting probe positions for the proper voltage readings; setting oscilloscope channels to AC mode at 0.5 V/Div; aligning the mass mark with the keyphasor probe; straightening the shaft via slow roll to reduce deflection to 0.5-0.7 mils; and using the speed control dial multiplied by 10 to determine RPM.
